Regioplan 2023/2024: Samen het voetbal in Noord-Nederland naar een hoger niveau brengen.

FC Groningen lanceerde samen met het Amateurconvenant en de Opleiding op woensdag 11 oktober het Regioplan 2023/2024. In het plan wordt omschreven hoe de samenwerking met amateurverenigingen in de regio nog intensiever en beter kan worden vormgegeven. Binnen het Regioplan streven bovengenoemde partijen en aangesloten amateurverenigingen er naar om samen het algehele voetbalniveau in de regio te verhogen. Hierin ligt de focus met name op de het verhogen van het kwaliteit in voetbalaanbod.
Tijdens een succesvolle bijeenkomst op woensdag 11 oktober werden doelstellingen en plannen met elkaar besproken. Vanuit FC Groningen gaven hoofd voetbalontwikkeling binnen de Opleiding: Byron Bakker en projectleider voetbalbalontwikkeling regio: Floris van Es een presentatie en toelichting op het Regioplan 2023/2024.
Betrokkenheid Van Es is dankbaar voor de betrokkenheid van de verschillende amateurverenigingen bij FC Groningen. “Verenigingen nemen een cruciale rol in als het gaat om de ontwikkeling en het spelplezier van jeugdvoetballers. Verenigingen uit de regio vormen de basis waar kinderen zich kunnen ontwikkelen als voetballer. Het Regioplan streeft ernaar om deze verenigingen te ondersteunen en te versterken, zodat de jeugd de best mogelijke voetbalervaring krijgt. Samen willen we een omgeving creëren waarin spelers en speelsters hun potentieel kunnen verwezenlijken en bovenal plezier beleven aan het spel.”
Partnerverenigingen Amateurverenigingen die structureel willen participeren binnen activiteiten van het Regioplan, speler- en kaderontwikkeling stimuleren en technische (eind) verantwoordelijke voor de jeugdafdeling hebben, worden erkend als Partnerclub Voetbalontwikkeling. Van Es: “Deze Partnerclubs Voetbalontwikkeling zullen een essentiële rol spelen in het verwezenlijken van deze ambitieuze doelen. Als Partnerclub Voetbalontwikkeling wordt de vereniging onderdeel van een netwerk met mogelijkheden om onderling samen te werken met andere clubs in de regio. Daarnaast worden er activiteiten georganiseerd voor verschillende kaderleden van jullie vereniging gericht op de ontwikkeling van het voetbalniveau in de regio.”
