Tal van prachtige voetballers hebben het groen-witte shirt van FC Groningen gedragen. Zij maken voor altijd onderdeel uit van de geschiedenis van de club. Om deze geschiedenis een stukje te herbeleven is het mogelijk een wedstrijd te spelen tegen voormalige spelers van FC Groningen. Wellicht zelfs jouw jeugdidolen!
Spelers
De selectie van 'Oud-FC Groningen' bestaat onder andere uit de oud-spelers Yuri Cornelisse, Martin Drent, Gibril Sankoh, Sergio van Dijk, Kurt Elshot, Sander van Gessel, Henk de Haan, Roy Beukenkamp, Arnold Kruiswijk, Antoine van der Linden en velen meer. De staf bestaat onder anderen uit Joop Gall, Theo Huizinga en Henk Hagenauw.
Maatschappelijke bijdrage
Via het formulier onderaan deze pagina is het mogelijk een aanvraag te doen voor een wedstrijd. Veelal speelt ons team tegen gelegenheids- of veteranenteams. Daarbij vraagt het team een vergoeding van € 1.500,- welke ten goede komt aan stichting FC Groningen in de Maatschappij. Hiermee dragen spelers bij aan de strijd tegen bewegingsarmoede in onze regio waarvoor de club tal van programma’s organiseert bij scholen, amateurverenigingen, bedrijven en in de wijken.
