FC Groningen heeft in september 2010 de stichting FC Groningen in de Maatschappij opgericht. De stichting is gelieerd aan de club, maar heeft een eigen stichtingsbestuur.
Bestuur
Voorzitter van het bestuur van FC Groningen in de Maatschappij is Roeland van der Schaaf. Naast de voorzitter komen de overige bestuursleden uit externe organisaties met bepaalde maatschappelijke knowhow op het gebied van onderwijs, vitaliteit en de impact van sport. Het netwerk van de bestuurders wordt benut om onze aanjagersrol nog breder uit te dragen.
