Kinderen zitten een groot gedeelte van de dag op school. Met diverse beweegprogramma’s in het kader van Meer & Beter Bewegen zet FC Groningen in op meer beweging tijdens de schooldag.
FC Groningen Scholentour
Eén van de programma’s waarmee FC Groningen veel basisschoolkinderen bereikt is het FC Groningen Scholentour programma. Dit is een inspirerende gymles die gegeven wordt door een maatschappelijke trainer van FC Groningen. Het doel is kinderen het plezier van bewegen te laten ervaren, door gevarieerd en gedifferentieerd bewegen aan te bieden in de les. Elk kind moet op haar niveau zo een succeservaring beleven. Aanvullend heeft elke school de mogelijkheid om een beweegprogramma van zes weken aan te vragen. In dit programma staat elke week een beweegthema centraal dat gekoppeld is aan een gezondheidsthema & (oud)-speler van FC Groningen. Door de inspirerende waarde van topsport in te zetten, wil FC Groningen kinderen met plezier bewust maken van een gezonde en actieve leefstijl.
Een belangrijk aandachtspunt in het programma is de beweeg ontwikkelingsfase waarin een kind zich begeeft. Dit betekent dat er voor de basisschoolgroepen drie en vier, vijf en zes, zeven en acht een gedifferentieerde les is uitgewerkt in een handboek gericht op de beweegontwikkelingsfase. De handboeken zijn voor zowel de groepsleerkracht als docenten lichamelijke opvoeding gratis te downloaden.
Tot slot participeren wij samen met basketbalclub Donar en volleybalvereniging Lycurgus in het Tijd voor Toekomst programma voor de Verlengde Schooldag. Hier bieden we extra breed motorische beweeglessen aan om kinderen vaardiger te maken.
