Zondag vindt in en rond Euroborg de jaarlijkse Open Dag plaats. Vanaf 12.00 uur is het stadion geopend. Om 13.00 uur is de spelerspresentatie op het hoofdveld. Verder zijn er onder meer een forum en diverse optreden op het Simone FM-podium. Het open huis eindigt om 17.00 uur.
De presentatie van spelers en staf in het stadion begint stipt om 13.00 uur op het hoofdveld. Om 15.00 uur start in het stadion een wedstrijd tussen Oud FC Groningen en een team van supporters en sponsors van FC Groningen. Bij Oud FC Groningen behoren tot de selectie onder anderen Ronald Steenge, Arjan Blaauw, Barend Beltman, Henk de Haan, Claus Boekweg, Jan Veenhof, Melchior Schoenmakers en Theo ten Caat.
Belangstellenden kunnen via Ingang 1, op de hoek bij de Fanshop, een rondgang maken langs de skyboxen van de Energy Valley Topclub en Playing for Success en de ABN AMRO Business Corner, op de tweede etage van Euroborg, het gastenvak, het Supportershome en het Fluks Hoes. Simone FM-podium Om 14.15 uur start op het Simone FM-podium op parkeerplaats P2, aan de Boumaboulevard voor Euroborg, een forum met trainer Robert Maaskant, aanwinst Michael de Leeuw en directeur Hans Nijland. Vanaf 15.00 uur zijn er optredens van Shary-An, Erwin de Vries met band en Dean Saunders.
Op P2 zijn vele attracties voor jong en oud, waarbij ook de FC Groningen Junior Club vertegenwoordigd zal zijn. Deze fanclub voor de jongste supporters is opgericht in 2002 en viert komend seizoen het 10-jarig bestaan. Leden die al die tijd lid zijn gebleven krijgen tijdens de Open Dag een VIP-behandeling. Bij de spelerspresentatie worden zij verwelkomd op het veld en krijgen een prominente plek. Seizoenkaarten winnen Tevens zijn er tijdens de Open Dag terrassen met horecavoorzieningen en bij de kolenmuur is de Essent Voetbalexperience (mede mogelijk gemaakt door Anders Sports) te vinden, waar leuke prijzen te winnen zijn. Hier zal ook officiële travel partner Sportstadion aanwezig zijn met een activiteit waarbij een reis naar FC Barcelona is te winnen. Ook is er seizoenkaartverkoop en is de nieuwe merchandise beschikbaar. De Open Dag eindigt om 17.00 uur.
