Be Quick 1887 en FC Groningen spelen woensdagavond om 19.00 uur in Stadion Esserberg een oefenwedstrijd. De opbrengst komt ten goede aan de Stichting FC Groningen in de Maatschappij.
Be Quick 1887 komt dit jaar voor het eerst uit in de Topklasse van het amateurvoetbal. De ploeg uit Haren speelde tot dusver tweemaal gelijk in deze divisie en speelt komende zondag om 14.30 uur een thuiswedstrijd tegen AFC. Gepast betalen De wedstrijd op Stadion Esserberg begint woensdag 4 september om 19.00 uur en de toegang bedraagt voor iedereen slechts 2 euro. De kassa’s zijn openen vanaf 17.30 uur en er is geen voorverkoop. Er wordt verzocht woensdagavond contant en gepast te betalen bij de kassa’s van Stadion Esserberg.
Voorafgaand aan het duel zullen sponsors van beide clubs deelnemen aan een gezamenlijk diner. Net als de kaartverkoopinkomsten gaat de opbrengst van het diner naar de Stichting FC Groningen in de Maatschappij. Beide clubs hopen een van de onderlinge wedstrijd een jaarlijkse traditie te maken.
