Het derde ontwerp van de fansjaal uit de ontwerpwedstrijd is door de stemmers via Facebook uitgeroepen tot winnaar. Met 46% van de stemmen werden ontwerpen 2 (34%) en 1 (20%) afgetroefd. De winnende sjaal van ontwerper Chris Westerhoff wordt in productie genomen.
In de maand april konden supporters hun eigen ontwerp insturen. Vervolgens maakte een jury bestaande uit Nick van der Velden (vanuit de spelersgroep), Roelie Grit (afgevaardigde FanCorner) en Rob Groen (vanuit de Supportersvereniging FC Groningen) een selectie van drie sjaals.
In mei kon er een week lang gestemd worden op de ontwerpen. Het winnende ontwerp word in productie genomen. Van alle stemmers is G.J. van Dijken uit Groningen de winnaar geworden van een exemplaar van de sjaal die komend seizoen in de FanCorner verkrijgbaar zal zijn.
