FC Groningen TV laat vanavond jeugdtrainer Peter Hoekstra aan het woord over trainingsvormen die door de gehele jeugdopleiding van FC Groningen worden uitgevoerd, is bij een speciale persconferentie voor het FC Groningen G-toernooi van volgende week, vraagt Nick Bakker hoe het met het herstel van zijn zware knieblessure gaat en kijkt vooruit naar het duel tegen AZ met Erwin van de Looi en Giliano Wijnaldum.
Het lijkt een open deur: topvoetballers die beschikken over basisvaardigheden om optimaal te kunnen presteren. Maar zelfs op het hoogste niveau is bijvoorbeeld niet elke voetballer tweebenig. Daarom heeft FC Groningen binnen de gehele jeugdopleiding vaste trainingsvormen ingevoerd die de juiste houding bij dribbelen en tweebenigheid moet bevorderen. A1-trainer Peter Hoekstra laat zien hoe dat in de praktijk werkt en vertelt waarom de jeugdspelers van FC Groningen deze oefeningen doen.
Komende woensdagmiddag, 9 oktober, organiseert FC Groningen voor de tiende keer het FC Groningen G-toernooi. Op het sportpark van VV Glimmen zullen tien teams strijden om de felbegeerde FNV Bouw Bokaal. FCG TV is aanwezig bij een speciale persconferentie waarin Egge Knol van de organisatie en Michael de Leeuw, ambassadeur van het toernooi, alvast vooruitkijken. Ook twee spelers van het deelnemende team van NOVO laten weten wat zij van het toernooi verwachten.
Op 2 april raakte Nick Bakker zwaar geblesseerd aan zijn knie. Tijdens Jong FC Groningen – Jong sc Heerenveen scheurde hij de voorste kruisband van zijn linkerknie af. Een lange weg van herstel volgde. Nu, een half jaar later, blijkt dat herstel voorspoedig te verlopen. Bakker traint alweer twee keer per week op het trainingsveld en is voorzichtig begonnen met baloefeningen. Voor FCG TV reden om aan Bakker te vragen hoe het nu met hem gaat.
Komende zondag ontvangt FC Groningen in Euroborg AZ. Voor Giliano Wijnaldum is het duel een weerzien met zijn vorige werkgever. Wijnaldum kijkt uit naar het duel, ook omdat de FC zich kan revancheren voor de nederlaag van afgelopen zondag tegen FC Twente. FCG TV blikt vooruit op het duel tegen AZ met Wijnaldum en trainer Erwin van de Looi.
FC Groningen TV wordt vanavond om 17.00 uur en 0.30 uur uitgezonden op kanaal 1 van Fox Sports Eredivisie. De herhaling is te zien om 18.00 uur en 22.30 uur op kanaal 3 en om 19.00 uur op kanaal 5 van Fox Sports Eredivisie. Zaterdag is FCG TV om 16.15 uur te zien op Fox Sports Eredivisie 1. Zondag is FCG TV te zien om 13.50 uur op Fox Sports Eredivisie kanaal 3, voorafgaande aan FC Groningen – AZ.
De afleveringen van FC Groningen TV zijn elke zaterdag ook te zien op OOG TV, de lokale omroep van Groningen. De uitzendingen beginnen om 15.30 uur en zijn in een carrousel terug te zien tot zondagochtend 9.00 uur.
