Komende zondag is voorzichtigheid in het rond het stadion zeer gewenst. Hoewel er alles aan gedaan wordt de looproutes begaanbaar te maken, kan het nog altijd glad zijn. Draag dus geschikt schoeisel en wees voorzichtig bij traplopen. Er zijn diverse adviezen rond de kou gegeven door de GHOR Groningen.
Vanwege de mogelijk te verwachten vorst, heeft de Geneeskundige Hulpverlening bij Ongevallen en Rampen (GHOR) diverse adviezen om goed warm te blijven: 1. trek niet-winddoorlatende kleding aan 2. trek extra waterafstotende kleding aan over de winterkleding 3. draag een hoofddeksel 4. doe handschoenen aan 5. gebruik oorwarmers 6. draag thermopeenschoenen 7. goed stampvoeten (niet springen, hierdoor een verhoogd risico op enkelblessures) 8. drink geen alcohol (hierdoor koelt men sneller af!) 9. er is extra EHBO-materiaal om onderkoeling te bestrijden
Gevoelstemperatuur Het KNMI vermeldt de gevoelstemperatuur alleen in de weeroverzichten als de omstandigheden daartoe aanleiding toe geven. De gevoelstemperatuur is een berekening aan de hand van de temperatuur en de windsnelheid. Op de KNMI-website kun je dit zelf uitrekenen. Bij een gevoelstemperatuur van -10 graden celcius kan na een aantal uren onderkoeling optreden. Bij een gevoelstemperatuur van -15 graden celcius of lager, bestaat in de buitenlucht gevaar voor bevriezing van de blote huid.
Wanneer wordt de bevolking gewaarschuwd? 1. 5 graden onder nul is de grens waarbij gewaarschuwd wordt 2. een gevoelstemperatuur van 10 graden onder nul of lager Voor zondagmiddag wordt een temperatuur van rond het vriespunt voorspeld en een windkracht van 4. De gevoelstemperatuur ligt waarschijnlijk rond de -5.
