Hans Koetje is een echte FC-supporter. Jarenlang bezocht de 49-jarige FC’er uit Winschoten Euroborg. Het leven van Hans bevindt zich door ziekte helaas in de laatste fase. Afgelopen week bracht Hans Koetje nog eenmaal een bezoek aan zijn geliefde club. Samen met Wensambulance Noord-Nederland keek hij nog eenmaal rond in de Groene Kathedraal en beleefde een bijzondere dag bij FC Groningen.
Passend bij het optimisme van Hans had de supporter zijn ‘Samen naar de Grote Markt’ T-shirt aangetrokken bij zijn laatste bezoek aan Euroborg. Koetje had dit T-shirt in de eerste week van FC Groningen on Tour ontvangen en toen uitgebreid verteld over zijn liefde voor de club en het gemis van Euroborg in het afgelopen jaar.
Met hulp van Wensambulance Noord-Nederland kon Koetje nog eenmaal naar Euroborg, om afscheid te nemen van zijn club. Het werd een dag voor Koetje en zijn naasten om nooit te vergeten. Het geur van gras werd nog eenmaal opgesnoven, de aanblik van het groene stadion nog een keer goed in het geheugen gegrift, nog eenmaal werd een rondje Euroborg gedaan.
De FC-fanatiekeling kreeg uit de handen van algemeen directeur Wouter Gudde een gesigneerd shirt van Arjen Robben en bij het trainingscomplex op sportpark Corpus den Hoorn had hij een ontmoeting met hoofdtrainer Danny Buijs en verschillende selectiespelers. Koetje beleefde een bijzonder afscheid van zijn FC waar intens en zichtbaar van werd genoten.
Met toestemming van de FC-supporter en zijn naaste familie mocht FC Groningen van het bezoek van Koetje aan de Trots van het Noorden onderstaande reportage maken. Hans mooi dat je er was, en dank voor je onvoorwaardelijke steun aan FC Groningen.
