Komende zaterdagmiddag zullen vier spelers van FC Groningen aanwezig zijn op het Keti Koti Festival in Kardinge. Gonzalo Garcia, Leandro Bacuna, Tom Hiariej en Shkodran Metaj zijn erbij tussen 13.00 uur en 16.00 uur.
Het Keti Koti Festival in Groningen komt steeds dichterbij. Zaterdag 4 september is feestelijke herdenking van de afschaffing van de slavernij is een feit op Sportcentrum Kardinge. Het programma is helemaal klaar en diverse prominenten hebben toegezegd te komen. Het belooft een fantastisch festival te worden waar ieder op zijn eigen manier van kan gaan genieten.
De Street Legends krijgen een prominente rol op het Keti Koti Festival. De straatvoetballers met de fantastische trucks, dribbels en de aansprekende voetbalnamen gaan het opnemen tegen spelers van FC Groningen en Kids United. Orry, Djuric, Terence en Ricardo zullen het publiek laten smullen van fraaie acties en diverse panna’s.
Daarnaast komt freestyler Kathy Vije naar haar geboorteplaats Groningen om haar onvoorstelbare trucks en geweldige kunstjes met de bal te laten zien. De balkunstenaars zijn allemaal de hele middag aanwezig en zullen diverse keren hun kunsten vertonen. Het Keti Koti Festival begint officieel om 14.00 uur en eindigt om 22.00 uur.
Het deel van het programma met de Street Legends ziet er als volgt uit: 12.00–12.15 Kathy demonstratie 12.15–14.00 Wedstrijden voor de jeugd 14.05–14.30 Street Legends tegen FC Groningen 14.30–14.45 Kathy 15.00–16.00 Street Legends tegen Kids United 16.00–16.20 Kids United tegen de Street Legends en FC Groningen
