FC Groningen wil dit weekend zorgen voor ‘Carnaval in het Noorden’. De ploeg van hoofdtrainer Danny Buijs neemt het vanavond in het Hitachi Capital Mobility Stadion om 20.45 uur op tegen VVV-Venlo en hoopt aan het einde van de wedstrijd de polonaise langs de tribunes te kunnen lopen. De deuren en kassa’s van het stadion openen om 19.15 uur.
In de aanloop naar de wedstrijd zijn tickets voor het duel met de Limburgers – zonder enige beperking – verkrijgbaar via de FanCorner, de FC-Primera’s, deze website via bovenstaande banner of op de wedstrijddag aan de kassa's bij het Hitachi Capital Mobility Stadion.

Dit weekend wordt er volop carnaval gevierd, met name onder de grote rivieren in het zuiden van Nederland. FC Groningen gaat er alles aan doen om zaterdagavond ook in het Hitachi Capital Mobility Stadion een mooi feest te kunnen vieren. De thuiswedstrijden tegen VVV-Venlo waren in het verleden vaak zeer doelpuntrijk en de Trots van het Noorden wil de Limburgers trakteren op de eerste nederlaag van dit kalenderjaar. Daarbij kan de ploeg van trainer Danny Buijs jouw steun ongelooflijk goed gebruiken, dus kom in je groen-witte outfit naar de wedstrijd!
FC Groningen Merchandise heeft voorafgaand aan het duel met VVV-Venlo een speciale actie. Wanneer je dit gehele weekend een wedstrijdshirt aanschaft in de FanCorner of online via de webshop, krijg je de bedrukking van zowel het rugnummer achterop als de spelersnaam voorop helemaal gratis. Koop daarom dit weekend nog een wedstrijdshirt en ga ‘verkleed’ als je favoriete FC’er de tribune op.
Verkeershinder
Bezoekers dienen zaterdag rekening te houden met verkeershinder van en naar het Hitachi Capital Mobility Stadion. Zo zijn er op verschillende trajecten in de regio werkzaamheden aan het spoor. Ook de toeritten van knooppunt Westerbroek zijn dit weekend gestremd. Na de wedstrijd wordt tussen 22.00 en 00.00 uur een tijdelijke doorgang gemaakt op het knooppunt Westerbroek.
