FC Groningen TV laat vanavond Ernest Faber en Ron Jans aan het woord over het feit dat Faber FC Groningen aan het einde van dit seizoen gaat verlaten. Daarnaast kijkt Tom van de Looi terug op zijn debuut tegen Willem II en blikt Yoëll van Nieff vooruit naar de wedstrijd van zaterdag tegen Heracles Almelo.
Woensdagochtend maakte FC Groningen bekend dat trainer Ernest Faber de FC aan het einde van dit seizoen gaat verlaten. In FCG TV vertellen Faber en manager technische zaken Ron Jans over het hoe en waarom. Daarnaast legt Jans uit waarom assistent-trainer Marcel Groninger ook niet doorgaat bij FC Groningen.
Tom van de Looi maakte afgelopen zondag tegen Willem II zijn debuut voor FC Groningen. FCG TV volgde Van de Looi tijdens dat duel en laat hem aan het woord over diverse momenten uit de wedstrijd zoals de duels die hij uitvocht met Ben Rienstra en de ontmoeting met zijn vader Erwin, de trainer van tegenstander Willem II.
Zaterdagavond speelt FC Groningen de eerste thuiswedstrijd van dit jaar, tegen Heracles Almelo. Yoëll van Nieff heeft goede herinneringen aan thuisduels tegen Heracles want tegen die tegenstander maakte hij in 2014 zijn eerste doelpunt voor FC Groningen. Hij deed dat uit een vrije trap. Vanavond vertelt hij over het nemen van vrije trappen, Heracles en het behalen van een speciaal diploma.
FC Groningen TV wordt vanavond om 18.15 uur uitgezonden op Fox Sports kanaal 1. De uitzending wordt vanavond herhaald om 18.35 uur op kanaal 3 en om 23.45 uur op kanaal 5. Zaterdag is FCG TV te zien om 16.15 uur op kanaal 3 en om 17.50 uur op kanaal 3, voorafgaande aan FC Groningen – Heracles Almelo.
