FC Groningen TV test vanavond de kennis van Ernest Faber van de historie van FC Groningen-Feyenoord. Daarnaast blikt Yoëll van Nieff vooruit naar de wedstrijd tegen de Rotterdammers en komen oud-spelers Bryan Linssen, Tim Matavz en Goran Lovre voorbij.
Zaterdagavond speelt FC Groningen thuis tegen landskampioen Feyenoord. Duels tegen de Rotterdammers zijn in Groningen vrijwel altijd boeiend. FCG TV test vanavond de kennis van trainer Ernest Faber van de historie van het duel. Weet hij bijvoorbeeld wie de topscorer is namens FC Groningen van de wedstrijden tussen de FC en Feyenoord? Daarnaast kijkt Yoëll van Nieff vooruit naar de ontmoeting tegen Feyenoord. Hij vertelt over hoe hij zich heeft voorbereid op het duel.
Afgelopen zondag keerden twee oud-spelers van FC Groningen namens Vitesse terug in het Noordlease Stadion: Bryan Linssen en Tim Matavz. FCG TV ving Linssen op bij aankomst bij stadion en volgde Matavz tijdens de wedstrijd. Hij benutte een penalty en dat deed denken aan de historische play-off wedstrijd uit 2011 tegen ADO Den Haag. Een andere oud-speler van FC Groningen zat tijdens de wedstrijd op de tribune: Goran Lovre. Het was voor het eerst na ruim zeven jaar dat hij weer in Groningen was en dat bracht emoties bij hem los. FCG TV sprak met de oud-middenvelder en hoorde van hem wat hij tegenwoordig doet.
FC Groningen TV wordt vanavond om 18.15 uur uitgezonden op Fox Sports kanaal 1. De uitzending wordt vanavond om 18.30 uur herhaald op kanaal 3 en om 23.30 uur en 0.30 uur op kanaal 5.
