FC Groningen TV kijkt vandaag terug op het duel tegen AZ met Yoëll van Nieff, Michael de Leeuw en Marco Bizot. Daarnaast vertelt Marcel van Buuren waarom hij vorige week is begonnen als assistent-trainer van Jong FC Groningen en is er een voorbeschouwing op de wedstrijd van komende donderdag tegen Ajax.
Afgelopen zaterdag verloor FC Groningen in Alkmaar met 2-0 van AZ. FCG TV blikt terug op het duel met Michael de Leeuw en Marco Bizot. Speciale aandacht is er voor Yoëll van Nieff die aan het begin van de tweede helft zijn rentree maakte bij FC Groningen nadat hij het afgelopen half jaar was uitgeleend aan FC Dordrecht. Bij die club is hij de afgelopen maanden uitgegroeid tot een echte vrije trappen-specialist.
Sinds vorige week wordt Jong FC Groningen-trainer Paul Raveneau geassisteerd door oud-FC Groningen speler Marcel van Buuren. Van Buuren werkte van 2002 tot medio 2013 in Abu Dhabi en Qatar en verleende de afgelopen weken al hand- en spandiensten bij de jeugdopleiding van FC Groningen. Tot het einde van dit seizoen is hij werkzaam als assistent-trainer van de beloften en oriënteert hij zich op zijn verdere trainingstoekomst. In FCG TV vertelt van Buuren hoe hij tot deze stap is gekomen.
Donderdagavond gaat FC Groningen in de Amsterdam ArenA op bezoek bij koploper Ajax. FC Groningen laat niets aan het toeval over en traint daarom deze week met de Brazuca, de officiële WK-bal en de bal waar in Amsterdam mee gespeeld gaat worden. Michael de Leeuw, Marco Bizot en Yoëll van Nieff vertellen in FC Groningen TV wat ze van de WK-bal vinden. Mocht FC Groningen komende donderdag gaan scoren met de Brazuca, dan is dat het eerste doelpunt van FC Groningen in de ArenA sinds 2 september 2007. Toen speelde de FC met 2-2 gelijk tegen Ajax, dankzij twee treffers van Marcus Berg.
FC Groningen TV wordt vanavond om 17.00 uur uitgezonden op Fox Sports Eredivisie kanaal 1. FCG TV wordt herhaald om 22.05 uur op kanaal 3 en om 19.00 uur op kanaal 5. Morgen is FCG TV te zien om 14.00 uur en 16.00 uur op kanaal 1 van Fox Sports Eredivisie. Donderdag is FCG TV te zien om 20.00 uur op kanaal 1 en 5, voorafgaande aan Ajax-FC Groningen.
De afleveringen van FC Groningen TV zijn elke zaterdag ook te zien op OOG TV, de lokale omroep van Groningen. De uitzendingen beginnen om 15.30 uur en zijn in een carrousel terug te zien tot zondagochtend 9.00 uur.
