FC Groningen TV is vandaag bij de rentree van Nick van der Velden in het shirt van FC Groningen, praat met Hans Hateboer over het contract dat hij woensdag tekende bij FC Groningen en kijkt met Yoëll van Nieff vooruit naar de ontmoeting van komende zondag met FC Utrecht.
Afgelopen dinsdag maakte Nick van der Velden zijn rentree in het shirt van FC Groningen. Begin november van het vorig jaar raakte Van der Velden tegen Roda JC geblesseerd waarna het bijna vier maanden duurde voordat hij weer fit genoeg was om speelminuten te maken. Dinsdag speelde hij in Assen een helft mee met de beloften tijdens een oefenduel tegen hoofdklasser ACV. Van der Velden kijkt in FCG TV terug op zijn eerste speelminuten na lange tijd in het shirt van de FC.
Voor Hans Hateboer was het woensdag een mooie dag. Hij tekende die dag een contract dat hem tot medio 2017 verbind aan FC Groningen. FCG TV was woensdag bij een bijeenkomst van de Vrienden van de Jeugdopleiding en sprak met Hateboer over dat heugelijke feit.
Deze week zorgde de supportersvereniging van FC Groningen voor een primeur. Voor het eerst sinds het bijna 30-jarige bestaan ging de supportersvereniging in overleg met de commissie van beroep van de KNVB naar aanleiding van het feit dat bij de eerstvolgende uitwedstrijd tegen Cambuur Leeuwarden er geen FC Groningen supporters aanwezig mogen zijn. De KNVB legde deze straf op na de uitwedstrijd tegen Cambuur op 17 augustus jl. John Schurer, voorzitter van de supportersvereniging van FC Groningen, vertelt in FCG TV wat het bijzondere gesprek opleverde.
Vorige week dinsdag was in FC Groningen TV te zien dat FC Groningen onlangs is gestart met een bijzonder project: OldStars FC Groningen. In de aflevering van vandaag zien we dat de deelnemende 60-plussers zijn gekleed in de trainingspakken die FC Groningen volgend seizoen gaat dragen. De OldStars gaan helemaal met hun tijd mee want de 77-jarige Piet Fransen loopt op zeer moderne voetbalschoenen. Maar of hij daar zelf zo blij mee is?
Komende zondag treft Yoell van Nieff tegen FC Utrecht een oude bekende. FC Utrecht-middenvelder Mark Diemers speelde tijdens het seizoen 2011/2012 samen met Van Nieff in de A1 van FC Groningen. Van Nieff weet wat FC Groningen komende zondag te doen staat tegen de ploeg van Diemers: scoren. Maar Van Nieff verwacht dat dat nog lastig genoeg gaat worden voor FC Groningen.
FC Groningen TV wordt vanavond om 17.00 uur en 23.30 uur uitgezonden op Fox Sports Eredivisie kanaal 1. FCG TV wordt herhaald om 18.00 uur en 21.55 uur op kanaal 3 en om 19.00 uur, 21.00 uur en 23.00 uur op kanaal 5. Zondag is FCG TV te zien om 10.25 uur op kanaal 1, voorafgaande aan FC Utrecht – FC Groningen.
De afleveringen van FC Groningen TV zijn elke zaterdag ook te zien op OOG TV, de lokale omroep van Groningen. De uitzendingen beginnen om 15.30 uur en zijn in een carrousel terug te zien tot zondagochtend 9.00 uur.
