In FC Groningen TV gaat Nick van der Velden vandaag droge worst knopen. Daarnaast kijkt FCG TV met oud-FC Groningen spits Martin Drent terug op de eerste zege ooit van FC Groningen in De Kuip en is er een voorbeschouwing op het duel van zondag tegen Feyenoord met Marco Bizot en Eric Botteghin.
Vorige week was in FCG TV te zien dat Nick van der Velden kennis maakte met de Groninger droge worst van slager Lammert Moes uit Tolbert. Als een volleerd slagersknecht ging Van der Velden alvast aan de slag. Vandaag gaat hij de droge worst, volgens het Dagblad van het Noorden lekkerste van het noorden, knopen zodat ze te drogen kunnen hangen. En dat knopen blijkt nog niet zo eenvoudig.
Zondag 2 mei 2004 is voor FC Groningen een historische datum. Die dag won FC Groningen voor het eerst in de geschiedenis van de club in De Kuip van Feyenoord. De Rotterdammers werden met 2-1 verslagen en dat was vooral te danken aan één man: Martin Drent. De oud-spits uit de stad Groningen viel tien minuten voor tijd in, bij een 1-0 achterstand, en zorgde er met twee fraaie treffers voor dat FC Groningen met drie punten huiswaarts keerde. Nog steeds wordt Drent door FC Groningen-supporters veel aan dat duel herinnert. Samen met FCG TV kijkt Drent terug naar dat voor hem zeer bijzondere duel.
Zondag gaat FC Groningen op bezoek in De Kuip bij Feyenoord. Met keeper Marco Bizot en Eric Botteghin blikt FCG TV vooruit naar de voor beide ploegen belangrijke wedstrijd. Bizot en Botteghin vertellen wat het met een voetballer doet om te spelen in De Kuip. Daarnaast vertelt Botteghin dat hij uitkijkt naar de duels met Feyenoord-spits Pellè. Om alvast op te warmen voor zondag, gingen Bizot en Botteghin donderdag op het Sontplein in Groningen latje trappen voor Make-A-Wish Nederland. De actie om zoveel mogelijk geld in te zamelen voor het goede doel was een initiatief van Nick van der Velden.
FC Groningen TV wordt vanavond om 17.00 uur en 23.30 uur uitgezonden op Fox Sports Eredivisie kanaal 1. FCG TV wordt herhaald om 18.00 uur en 21.55 uur op kanaal 3 en om 19.00 en 21.00 uur op kanaal 5. Zaterdag is FCG TV te zien om 16.10 uur op kanaal 1 van Fox Sports Eredivisie.
De afleveringen van FC Groningen TV zijn elke zaterdag ook te zien op OOG TV, de lokale omroep van Groningen. De uitzendingen beginnen om 15.30 uur en zijn in een carrousel terug te zien tot zondagochtend 9.00 uur.
