FC Groningen kijkt vandaag terug op de afgelasting van FC Groningen - FC Twente van afgelopen zondag. Daarnaast zijn er samenvattingen te zien van de duels van Jong FC Groningen en FC Groningen C1 en is FCG TV bij het Mini-WK van Kids United.
Afgelopen zondag werd FC Groningen – FC Twente afgelast omdat scheidsrechter Richard Liesveld de veiligheid van de spelers niet kon waarborgen. De beslissing werd kort voor het duel genomen waardoor niet alle supporters ervan op de hoogte waren dat de wedstrijd niet doorging. In FCG TV reageren Liesveld, FC Groningen-trainer Erwin van de Looi en FC Groningen-directeur Hans Nijland op de afgelasting. En ondanks het niet doorgaan van het duel, wisten sommige supporters zich prima te vermaken bij het stadion.
Zaterdag ging het duel tussen FC Groningen C1 en Vitesse C1 wel door. FC Groningen C1 speelde in prima eerste helft en kwam terecht op een 3-1 voorsprong. Maar het onderaan staande Vitesse werd door de ploeg van trainer Hugo Velame in de gelegenheid gebracht om terug te komen in de wedstrijd waardoor het duel in een 3-3 gelijkspel eindigde. In FCG TV is een samenvatting van de wedstrijd te zien met reacties van Hugo en keeper Joep van de Haar.
Ook Jong FC Groningen kwam in actie en net als de C1 deden de Beloften van FC Groningen zichzelf tekort. Jong FC Groningen had een groot overwicht tegen Jong VVV/Helmond Sport, maar veel kansen werden niet benut waardoor het duel uiteindelijk eindigde in 2-2. Ondanks het gelijkspel blijft Jong FC Groningen wel koploper van de Beloften Divisie A. Een samenvatting van de wedstrijd is te zien in FCG TV met reacties van trainer Paul Raveneau en aanvoerder Burak Saban.
In deze tijd van kou is het ook best prettig als je in de zaal kan voetballen. Dat is precies wat Kids United afgelopen zaterdag deed. Tijdens een Mini-WK kwamen diverse landen in actie, bestaande uit spelers en speelsters van Kids United. Voor de finale tussen Nederland en Engeland werden zelfs echte volksliederen gespeeld. Dat motiveerde beide finalisten tot een spetterende eindstrijd.
FC Groningen TV wordt vanavond om 17.00 uur en 23.45 uur uitgezonden op Fox Sports Eredivisie kanaal 1. FCG TV wordt herhaald om 18.00 uur en 22.00 uur op kanaal 3 en om 19.00 uur op kanaal 5. Morgen is FCG TV te zien om 14.05 uur op kanaal 1 van Fox Sports Eredivisie.
De afleveringen van FC Groningen TV zijn elke zaterdag ook te zien op OOG TV, de lokale omroep van Groningen. De uitzendingen beginnen om 15.30 uur en zijn in een carrousel terug te zien tot zondagochtend 9.00 uur.
