FC Groningen TV kijkt vanavond terug op de bekerontmoeting met VV Capelle. Daarnaast is er een terugblik op FC Groningen - Roda JC van 13 december 2002 met hoofdrolspeler Hugo Alves Velame en is er te zien wie van de selectie van FC Groningen de afgelopen maand een vrije dag heeft gewonnen tijdens de trainingen.
Afgelopen woensdag bereikte FC Groningen de laatste zestien van de strijd om de KNVB-beker dankzij een 2-0 overwinning in Euroborg op Zaterdag Topklasser VV Capelle. FCG TV peilde vooraf alvast op het horecaplein de stemming bij de FC supporters en trof in de pauze een aantal fans van VV Capelle in het stadion. Na afloop reageerden trainer Erwin van de Looi, doelpuntenmaker Eric Botteghin en aanvoerder Maikel Kieftenbeld op de bekerwinst.
Komende zondag speelt FC Groningen opnieuw thuis. dan komt Roda JC voor de competitie op bezoek in Euroborg. Het is de 33ste ontmoeting tussen beide in Groningen. In de eerdere 32 ontmoetingen bleek Roda een lastige tegenstander. Tien keer werd er thuis verloren van de ploeg uit Kerkrade, tien keer gelijkgespeeld en twaalf keer gewonnen. Eén van die zeges werd geboekt op 13 december 2002. Na een 2-0 achterstand wist FC Groningen op een bevroren speelveld alsnog met 3-2 te winnen. Hugo Alves Velame maakte op fraaie wijze de 2-2 en kijkt samen met FCG TV terug op die gedenkwaardige wedstrijd.
In de maand oktober ontspon zich tijdens de trainingen regelmatig een fanatieke strijd op het trainingsveld van FC Groningen. Inzet: een vrije dag. Elke week waren er trainingsvormen waarin de spelers punten konden scoren. De speler met de meeste punten aan het einde van de maand mag de komende maand een extra vrije dag opnemen. Afgelopen donderdag konden twee spelers nog aanspraak maken op de zege: Rasmus Lindgren en Emil Johansson. FCG TV was aanwezig bij de eindstrijd tussen de beide Zweden van FC Groningen.
De reguliere uitzending van FC Groningen TV wordt vanavond om 17.00 uur en 23.30 uur uitgezonden op kanaal 1 van Fox Sports Eredivisie. De herhaling is te zien om 18.00 uur en 22.30 uur op kanaal 3 en om 19.00 uur op kanaal 5 van Fox Sports Eredivisie. Zaterdag wordt FCG TV om 16.05 uur herhaald op kanaal 1 en zondag om 10.20 uur op kanaal 1, voorafgaande aan FC Groningen – Roda JC.
De afleveringen van FC Groningen TV zijn elke zaterdag ook te zien op OOG TV, de lokale omroep van Groningen. De uitzendingen beginnen om 15.30 uur en zijn in een carrousel terug te zien tot zondagochtend 9.00 uur.
