FC Groningen TV kijkt vanavond vooruit naar het duel van zaterdag tegen de Vitesse en de halve finale van de KNVB-Beker komende woensdag tegen Excelsior. Daarnaast is er een portret te zien van Marcel van Buuren, de trainer van de B1 van FC Groningen.
Volgende week woensdag speelt FC Groningen in een uitverkocht Euroborg de halve finale van de KNVB-Beker tegen Excelsior. FCG TV kijkt met oud-speler Claus Boekweg terug op de vorige keer dat FC Groningen de halve finale bereikte en wist te winnen. Op 12 april 1989 versloeg FC Groningen in een zinderend Oosterparkstadion Willem II met 5-1. Boekweg maakte toen deel uit van het basiselftal van toenmalig trainer Hans Westerhof. Daarnaast laat FCG TV nog een keer zien hoe dit seizoen de halve finale werd bereikt.
Een andere oud-speler van FC Groningen, Marcel van Buuren, is tegenwoordig trainer van de B1 van FC Groningen. FCG TV volgde Van Buuren afgelopen zaterdag tijdens de thuiswedstrijd tegen De Graafschap B1 en sprak met hem over het trainersvak, zijn ambities en zijn periode als speler van FC Groningen.
Voordat FC Groningen in actie komt tegen Excelsior, wordt er zaterdag eerst voor de competitie gevoetbald tegen Vitesse. FC Groningen blikt vooruit op dat duel met trainer Erwin van de Looi en kijkt hoe de internationals teruggekomen zijn van de interlands die ze speelden afgelopen week.
FC Groningen TV wordt donderdag om 18.00 uur uitgezonden op Fox Sports Eredivisie kanaal 1. De uitzending wordt donderdagavond om 19.30 uur, 22.00 uur en 23.30 uur herhaald op kanaal 1 en om 19.00 uur, 20.30 uur, 23.00 uur en 0.30 uur op kanaal 3. Vrijdag is FCG TV om 14.30 uur te zien op kanaal 3 en om 15.30 uur op kanaal 1.
FC Groningen TV is elke zaterdag vanaf 15.30 uur ook te zien op OOG TV en via Ziggo kanaal 40 en KPN, Telfort en XS4All kanaal 622. De uitzending wordt doorlopend herhaald tot zondagochtend 9.00 uur.
