Donderdag heeft in Euroborg de tweede editie Businessdag plaatsgevonden, georganiseerd door het Organisatiebureau FC Groningen. Liefst 72 standhouders presenteerden zich ’s middags op de omloop aan zo’n duizend belangstellenden.
De opening werd verricht door directeur Hans Nijland van FC Groningen samen met Dig Istha van Essent. De 72 standhouders vulden de gehele omloop rondom het hoofdveld. Vanaf 14.30 uur werd in het stadion een training verzorgd door Pieter Huistra, die speciaal voor deze gelegenheid was uitgerust met een ‘headset’ zodat het publiek live kon meeluisteren met de trainer/coach.
Bijzonderheid op deze Businessdag was de mogelijkheid testritten te kunnen maken in een elektrische auto van Enexis en een auto op groen gas van Orange Gas. Na afloop van de beurs op de omloop was er aan het begin van de avond als afsluiting voor de standhouders en genodigden een aangeklede borrel met oud-topschaatser Hein Vergeer als spreker.
