De competitiewedstrijd FC Groningen – Sparta is uitverkocht. Vandaag werden de laatste kaarten verkocht. Het duel in Euroborg begint zaterdagavond om 19.45 uur. Bezoekers van het stadion dienen rekening te houden met verkeershinder.
Odat het gastenvak niet volledig gevuld is met Rotterdamse supporters zal de totale capaciteit van 22.329 plaatsen niet worden benut. Maar alle overige stoeltjes zullen zaterdagavond bezet zijn. FC Groningen verdedigt tegen Sparta Rotterdam de tweede plaats op de ranglijst en staat bij winst weer minimaal een dag aan kop van de Eredivisie. Verkeershinder Op weg naar Euroborg moeten de bezoekers zaterdag rekening houden met verkeershinder. Dit geldt vooral voor wegverkeer uit zuidelijke richting, de richting Drachten. Zoals bekend, wordt er gewerkt aan de belangrijkste verkeersader richting de stad, het knooppunt Julianaplein. Er zullen omleidingroutes worden ingesteld.
Ook het treinverkeer van station Assen naar het centraal station van Groningen ligt komend weekeinde stil. Het vervoer van passagiers uit die richting zal geschieden middels touringcars van Drenthe Tours. Kortom: onze dringende advies is om ruimschoots op tijd van huis te gaan, dus eerder dan normaal, anders loopt u een serieuze kans te laat te arriveren voor de wedstrijd.
