In de nieuwe aflevering van FC Groningen TV wordt onder meer teruggekeken op de overwinning van afgelopen zaterdag op Excelsior met de Uruguayanen David Texeira en Matias Jones die beiden hun eerste minuten maakten in Euroborg.
Opvallend was dat Jones aan het slot van de wedstrijd Texeira kwam aflossen. Voor de wedstrijd liep FCG TV Fredrik Stenman tegen het lijf. De Zweed die afgelopen zomer overstapte naar Club Brugge heeft al twee maanden last van een liesblessure waardoor hij de zwaarste periode uit zijn carrière tot nu toe meemaakt.
Maikel Kieftenbeld werd na het duel tegen Excelsior door de supporters gekozen tot Essent Man of the Match. De middenvelder laat weten wat hij van de uitverkeizing vindt en kijkt meteen vooruit naar de bekerontmoeting van komende donderdag tegen AZ.
Onlangs werd in Euroborg de tweede businessdag georganiseerd. In FC Groningen TV is vanavond een impressie van deze dag te zien met onder andere een lezing van oud-topschaatser Hein Vergeer die voetbal, en FC Groningen, vergelijkt met het bedrijfsleven.
Natuurlijk ontbreekt ook dit keer de wekelijkse neiuwsbrief van Hans Nijland niet.
FC Groningen TV wordt vanavond ivm de bekerwedstrijden alleen uitgezonden op Eredivisie Live 2, om 18.00 uur en 21.45 uur. Het programma wordt woensdag herhaald op Eredivisie Live 1 om 11.30 uur.
