In FC Groningen TV is vanavond veel aandacht voor de laatste wedstrijd van dit kalenderjaar van FC Groningen. Er wordt met trainer Pieter Huistra, Lorenzo Burnet, Maikel Kieftenbeld en Virgil van Dijk teruggeblikt op de 1-0 overwinning op FC Utrecht. In verband met de KNVB Beker wordt FC Groningen TV vanavond uitgezonden op Eredivisie Live 2.
Daarnaast wordt met Huistra, Burnet, Kieftenbeld en Van Dijk nog even teruggekeken op de eerste seizoenshelft.
Het duel tussen FC Groningen en FC Utrecht stond helemaal in het teken Make-A-Wish Nederland, per 1 januari de nieuwe naam van Doe een Wens Stichting Nederland. FC Groningen organiseerde diverse actie’s om zoveel mogelijk geld binnen te halen voor Make-A-Wish Nederland zoals een collecte en een veiling van de wedstrijdshirts.
In de wekelijkse nieuwsbrief laat FC Groningen directeur Hans Nijland weten dat de actie voor Make-A-Wish Nederland een groot succes is. Tevens vertelt Nijland in de nieuwsbrief dat er woensdag alweer een bijzondere actie in Euroborg gepland staat.
Vorige week sloten de leerlingen van Playing for Success hun leerperiode in Euroborg af met een speciale bijeenkomst. Leandro Bacuna en Tim Keurntjes waren de speciale gasten die eerst uitgebreid werden geïnterviewd door de leerlingen en daarna de certificaten ondertekenden die de leerlingen mee naar huis kregen.
David Texeira is door de fans van FC Groningen verkozen tot Essent Man of the Match na de wedstrijd tegen FC Utrecht. De clubtopscorer gaat nu samen met Lorenzo Burnet aan kop van de ranglijst in het Essent Speler van het Jaar 2011/2012 klassement. In FCG TV is vanavond een interview te zien met Texeira.
FC Groningen TV is vanavond ivm met de KNVB Beker om 18.00 uur te zien op Eredivisie Live 2. De herhalingen op EL 2 zijn om 20.00 uur en 22.00 uur. Woensdag wordt FCG TV herhaald op EL1 om 08.45 uur en 13.25 uur.
