In FC Groningen TV vertelt algemeen directeur Hans Nijland vanavond waarom FC Groningen de onderhandelingen over contractverlenging met Petter Andersson heeft stopgezet. Gisteravond oefende FC Groningen tegen een regioteam uit het Brabantse Altena. Op het sportpark van hoofdklasser Kozakken Boys won FC Groningen met 5-0 dankzij doelpunten van Atilay Batbay, Thomas Enevoldsen, Nick Bakker, Suk Hyun-Jun en Matias Jones. Voor Nick Bakker was het een mooie avond. Hij scoorde zijn eerste doelpunt voor het eerste elftal van FC Groningen en dat na ruim twee maanden afwezigheid door de ziekte van Pfeiffer.
Komende maandag begint in Euroborg de verbouwing van de lounge. De Hattrick’s lounge krijgt komende zomer een complete make-over en daarom werd de afgelopen dagen de lounge alvast helemaal leeg gemaakt. Sjoerd Peterzon van Euroborg Horeca leidde FCG TV rond langs de verschillende ruimtes die vanaf volgende week een complete verandering ondergaan.
Afgelopen dinsdag werd in Euroborg een afscheidsreceptie voor teammanager Theo Huizinga georganiseerd. Huizinga neemt na 36 jaar afscheid van FC Groningen en speciaal daarvoor waren veel bekenden uit de Nederlandse voetbalwereld dinsdag naar Groningen gekomen om zo hun waardering te laten merken voor alles wat Huizinga voor hen heeft betekend. Het werd een mooie avond met veel oude bekenden van Huizinga.
FC Groningen TV wordt vanavond om 18.00 uur uitgezonden op Eredivisie Live 2. Voorafgaande aan het duel tegen de Suriprofs wordt FCG TV ook om 18.55 uur uitgezonden op Eredivisie Live 1. Er zijn herhalingen om 20.00 uur en 22.00 uur op EL2 en 22.55 uur op EL1.
