Afgelopen zaterdag verloor FC Groningen de Derby van het Noorden tegen sc Heerenveen met 3-1. FC Groningen TV blikt vanavond op Eredivisie Live terug op het duel. De uitzending begint vanavond om 18.00 uur op Eredivisie Live 1.
Met doelpuntmaker Dusan Tadic wordt teruggekeken, net als met Luis Pedro da Silva Ferreira die zijn eerste derby op het hoogste niveau speelde als centrale verdediger. De supporters van FC Groningen verkozen na afloop van het duel aanvoerder Petter Andersson als Essent Man of the Match. Andersson was verrast door de uitverkiezing omdat hij vooral niet tevreden was over zijn spel in de eerste helft. Volgens de Zweed was een mindere eerste helft van zijn ploeg de reden van de nederlaag.
Voor de B1 van RVO FC Groningen/Cambuur was het zaterdag wel een mooie avond. Voorafgaand aan FC Groningen – sc Heerenveen werd de ploeg van trainer Peter Moltmaker in Euroborg gehuldigd voor het kampioenschap van de Eerste Divisie A. Een week eerder won RVO FC Groningen/Cambuur B1 in Amsterdam met 4-2 van Zeeburgia B1 waardoor het gat met de concurrentie zo groot werd dat de B1 van de FC niet meer kan worden ingehaald en volgend seizoen weer acteert op het hoogste niveau van de B-junioren.
De beloften van FC Groningen kwamen maandagavond voor de competitie net tekort tegen Jong PSV. Op de Herdgang in Eindhoven scoorde Jong PSV in het laatste kwartier twee keer waardoor Jong FC Groningen met een 2-0 nederlaag weer huiswaarts keerde. Ondanks het verlies staat Jong FC Groningen nog steeds in het linkerrijtje van de Beloften Eredivisie, op de zesde plaats. In FC Groningen TV is vanavond een samenvatting van het duel tussen Jong PSV en Jong FC Groningen te zien.
Maandagavond organiseerde FC Groningen voor de tweede keer een benefietavond voor Make-A-Wish Nederland. Onder leiding van spreekstal- en veilingmeester Jacques d’Ancona werd het een zeer mooie en succesvolle avond want dankzij alle bijdragen werd er een bedrag van maar liefst 89.336 Euro binnengehaald voor Make-A-Wish Nederland. Hans Nijland, algemeen directeur van FC Groningen, was na afloop van het gala dan ook een trots en vooral blij mens.
FC Groningen TV wordt vanavond om 18.00 uur uitgezonden op Eredivisie Live 1. De herhaling is op Eredivisie Live 2 om 19.00 uur, 21.00 uur en 23.00 uur. Woensdag wordt FC Groningen TV om 08.45 uur en 13.25 uur herhaald op EL 1.
