De kop is eraf! Gisteren speelde FC Groningen haar eerste competitiewedstrijd tegen FC Twente. Sven Addens woonde de wedstrijd bij als Junior Reporter en schreef er onderstaand wedstrijdverslag over.

Een mooie actie van Linssen in de 17e minuut, daarna een kans voor De Leeuw in de 20e minuut. Antonia heeft nog een kans in de 31e minuut, maar Twente scoort in de 42e minuut. Groningen heeft de eerste helft veel kansen gehad en was sterker dan FC Twente.
Tussenstand: 0-1 2e helft Tibbling heeft een één-tweetje met De Leeuw, maar Tibbling schiet naast. Twente wisselt Renato Tapia voor Tim Hölscher. Ook Groningen gaat wisselen; Linssen gaat eruit en Jesper Drost komt binnen de lijnen. Er zijn 3 grote kansen achter elkaar voor Hans Hateboer, in de 71e minuut ook nog voor Antonia. Groningen wisselt vervolgens nog een keer. Mahi komt in het veld voor Rusnak en Hiariej gaat eruit voor Hoesen. Na een wissel van Twente heeft Hoesen een grote kans.
