Om de teamspirit binnen het team te versterken deed de A1 van FC Groningen/Cambuur in september van dit jaar mee aan een survivalrun in de bossen van Veenhuizen. Vrijdagavond is in FC Groningen TV te zien hoe de spelers van trainer Paul Raveneau het ervan afbrengen in de touwen, op de boomstammen en vooral in het ijskoude water. De survivalrun was voor de selectie van de A1 afzien in het kwadraat.
Komende zaterdag staat FC Groningen – FC Utrecht geheel in het teken van Make-A-Wish Nederland, per 1 januari de nieuwe naam van Doe Een Wens Stichting Nederland. Met de actie probeert de FC zoveel geld in te zamelen dat de allerliefste wens van vier ernstig zieke kinderen kan worden vervuld. FC Groningen directeur Hans Nijland laat weten dat in elk geval één wens al in vervulling kan gaan. Laatste competitiewedstrijd Het duel tussen FC Groningen en FC Utrecht is de laatste competitiewedstrijd van 2011 in Euroborg. Lorenzo Burnet en Tim Sparv hopen dat duel winnend af te sluiten zodat ze met een goed gevoel 2012 in gaan. Derde keeper Agil Etemadi verlaat FC Groningen en tekent maandag een contract bij de Iraanse topclub Traktor Sazi FC. Etemadi keert hiermee terug naar zijn geboorteland. In FCG TV vertelt hij over het hoe en waarom. Gouden Bal vv Actief uit Eelde heeft woensdagavond de Gouden Bal ontvangen voor de beste en lekkerste gehaktbal van het afgelopen jaar, geserveerd na een voetbalclinic van FC Groningen. Egge Knol, coördinator van de clinics, reikte de trofee uit aan Alida en Josanne Berends van de amateurclub uit Eelde. Uitzendingen FC Groningen TV is vanavond om 17.55 uur te zien op Eredivisie Live 2. De herhaling op EL 2 is te zien om 22.00 en 0.00 uur. Morgen wordt FCG TV herhaald op Eredivisie Live 1 om 16.15 uur en om 20.25 uur op Eredivisie Live 4, voorafgaande aan FC Groningen – FC Utrecht. De wedstrijd, die om 20.45 uur begint in Euroborg, wordt zowel op Eredivisie Live 1 als 4 uitgezonden.
