Woensdagmiddag 10 november is in Leeuwarden een zeer succesvolle Talentendag gehouden door de RVO FC groningen/Cambuur. Er waren 140 deelnemers. Het was de vierde van vijf Talentendagen. De vijfde editie is in de voorjaarsvakantie op Sportpark Corpus den Hoorn.
Organisator Niek Hollewand blikt terug op een mooie middag: “Met 140 enthousiaste deelnemers uit Leeuwarden en omstreken was het een geslaagde dag. De trainers van RVO FC Groningen/Cambuur schotelden de spelers een techniekvormen en partijvormen voor waarin 100% inzet werd verwacht. Door de talentendag heeft de Regionale Jeugdopleiding Opleiding van FC Groningen/Cambuur een goed beeld gekregen van de Friese talenten.”
Een van de deelnemers aan de vierde Talentendag van 2010/2011 was Roan Pool van de D1 van VV Leeuwarden. De linksbuiten nam samen met twee andere teamgenoten deel aan de Talentendag. Roan: “Ik vond het een leuke en leerzame middag. Vooral de passvormen waarin je steeds tips kreeg over hoe je het beste kan passen, was erg leerzaam.”
