FC Groningen TV was afgelopen zondag bij het bezoek dat oud-speler Fredrik Stenman, samen met aanwinst Simon Tibbling, bracht aan Euroborg. Daarnaast heeft FCG TV een reportage over het basisdebuut van Jafar Arias en FC Groningen/Cambuur A1 dat een belangrijke wedstrijd speelde tegen PSV A1. Tevens is er een voorbeschouwing op het duel tegen Vitesse.
Afgelopen zondag keerde Fredrik Stenman na drie jaar weer terug in Euroborg. De voormalige linksback bracht een bezoek aan de derby tegen sc Heerenveen. Stenman had zijn landgenoot Simon Tibbling meegenomen naar Groningen. Tibbling speelt vanaf 1 januari in het shirt van FC Groningen en maakte afgelopen weekend via Stenman alvast kennis met de stad en de club. Voor Stenman was het vooral een weerzien met veel oude bekenden.
Tegen sc Heerenveen stond Jafar Arias voor het eerst in de basis bij FC Groningen. Het was een bijzondere wedstrijd voor de speler die in 2012 via AGOVV terecht kwam bij FC Groningen/Cambuur A1 en na ruim twee jaar al is doorgestroomd richting het eerste elftal. Arias was na de Derby van het Noorden vooral blij met zijn basisdebuut.
FC Groningen/Cambuur A1 staat deze weken voor een belangrijke fase in de competitie. De ploeg van trainer Peter Hoekstra moet bij de eerste acht eindigen om straks in 2015 mee te mogen doen aan de kampioenspoule. Afgelopen zaterdag kon de A1 een belangrijke stap zetten tegen PSV A1.
Komende zondag komt Vitesse op bezoek in Euroborg. FC Groningen heeft goede herinneringen aan de recente thuisduels met de club uit Arnhem. Vorig seizoen werd met een 3-1 overwinning een ongeslagen reeks in Euroborg ingezet, een serie die in elk geval tot komende zondag nog steeds stand houdt. Daarnaast werd Vitesse in de eerste ronde van de laatste play-offs thuis met 1-0 verslagen dankzij een doelpunt van Lorenzo Burnet. FCG TV kijkt samen met Burnet terug naar dat belangrijke moment en vooruit naar de ontmoeting van zondag.
FC Groningen TV wordt donderdag om 18.00 uur uitgezonden op Fox Sports Eredivisie kanaal 1. De uitzending wordt om 21.30 uur herhaald op kanaal 1 en om 19.00 uur en 22.30 uur op kanaal 3. Vrijdag is de herhaling om 7.45 uur te zien op kanaal 1.
FC Groningen TV is elke zaterdag vanaf 15:30 uur ook te zien op OOG TV en via Ziggo kanaal 40 en KPN, Telfort en XS4All kanaal 622. De uitzending wordt doorlopend herhaald tot zondagochtend 9.00 uur.
