Vanavond is in FC Groningen TV een uitgebreid interview te zien met Fredrik Stenman. Programmamakers Emiel Venema en Jos Schoenmaker brachten twee weken geleden een bezoek aan de Zweedse linksback die tot nu toe een zeer ongelukkig seizoen doormaakt bij Club Brugge.
Zondag 19 februari scheurde Stenman tegen Kortrijk zijn rechterachillespees volledig af. Een dag later werd hij geopereerd in Antwerpen waarna de lange revaldatie was begonnen voor de oud-speler van FC Groningen.
De in Groningen nog altijd zeer populaire Stenman was eerder in het seizoen al langdurig uitgeschakeld door lies- en heupklachten. Stenman is er dan ook alles aan gelegen om weer helemaal terug te komen om in Brugge te kunnen laten zien dat hij in België van evenveel waarde kan zijn als hij was in Nederland voor FC Groningen. FCG TV nam speciaal voor Stenman gelukwensen mee uit Groningen om hem een hart onder de riem te steken.
De afgelopen week was het goede doelenweek bij FC Groningen. Zaterdag overhandigde oud-financieel directeur Erik Mulder een cheque aan burgemeester Van Mastrigt van Hoogezand-Sappemeer. Mulder had tijdens zijn afscheidsreceptie, vorige week woensdag, geld ingezameld voor de realisatie van een Johan Cruyff-Court in de wijk Gorecht-Oost in Sappemeer. Twee dagen later vond bij sponsor Noordlease de tweede benefietavond voor Make-A-Wish Nederland plaats. Dankzij een veiling met bijzondere kavels wist FC Groningen bijna 90.000 Euro binnen te halen voor Make-A-Wish Nederland.
FC Groningen TV is vanavond om 17.55 uur te zien op Eredivisie Live 1. De herhalingen worden uitgezonden om 19.00 uur, 21.00 uur en 23.00 uur op Eredivisie Live 2. FC Groningen TV wordt zaterdag herhaald om 15.40 uur op EL1.
Let op: morgenavond om 18.00 uur wordt de Special ‘FC Groningen in Europa’ uitgezonden op Eredivisie 1. ‘FC Groningen in Europa’ laat in 50 minuten bijna alle doelpunten zien van de 28 wedstrijden die FC Groningen tot nu toen in Europees verband speelde. Van Rob McDonald, de maker van het eerste Europese doelpunt van FC Groningen tegen Atlético Madrid, tot Erik Nevland tegen Fiorentina. Samen met Jan van Dijk, Ron Jans, Erwin Koeman, René Eijkelkamp, Theo Huizinga en Pim Verbeek kijkt FC Groningen TV terug op de legendarische wedstrijden tegen onder andere Atlético Madrid, Inter Milan, Vitória Guimarães, Servette Servette Genève, Partizan Belgrado, Vác Samsung en Fiorentina met het originele commentaar van Evert ten Napel, Eddy Poelmann, Hugo Walker en Henk Kok. De special wordt zondag om 08.05 uur herhaald op EL1.
