Omdat door drukte bij de thuiswedstrijden van FC Groningen de wegen rondom Euroborg vol lopen, is de club samen met Arriva Touring vorig seizoen gestart met een pendelbusdienst vanaf P&R Hoogkerk aan de A7 en P&R Haren aan de A28. Deze service wordt vanaf het seizoen 2012/2013 uitgebreid met een opstapplaats bij Sportcentrum Kardinge.
Bij thuiswedstrijden rijdt er vanaf vijf kwartier voor de aftrap om de 10 minuten een bus naar Euroborg om de bezoekers af te zetten bij de bushalte aan de Boumaboulevard voor het stadion. De laatste bus richting Euroborg gaat een kwartier voor het beginsignaal van de wedstrijd. Tot een uur na afloop van de thuiswedstrijden kan van de pendeldienst richting Kardinge, P&R Hoogkerk en P&R Haren gebruik worden gemaakt. In Hoogkerk is de opstapplaats bij halte F. In Haren is de opstapplaats bij de halte van lijn 22/Citybus. De kosten voor de pendelbusdienst bedragen 2,50 euro per persoon voor een retourtje. Extra service FC Groningen en Arriva Touring zijn de pendelbusdienst opgestart als extra service voor de supporters, om de filedruk richting Euroborg te verminderen, bezoekers een snellere weg naar en van het stadion te bieden, minder parkeerproblemen te hebben in de directe omgeving van het stadion en omdat het een duurzaam alternatief is. Zoals wellicht bekend streeft FC Groningen ernaar de meeste groene en duurzame club van Nederland te worden en ook dit project draagt hieraan bij. FC Groningen en Arriva Touring hopen dat veel supporters op wedstrijddagen van deze mooie gelegenheid om op een goede, snelle manier bij het stadion te komen, gebruik maken.
