Woensdagmiddag vanaf 17.00 uur zijn in Euroborg de spelers en trainers van FC Groningen voor het seizoen 2015/2016 gepresenteerd aan het massaal opgekomen overwegend jeugdige publiek op de jaarlijkse Open Dag van de Trots van het Noorden.
Presentator Emiel Venema riep de bekerhelden en nieuwelingen Abel Tamata, Bryan Linssen en Jesper Drost van de FC één voor één uit de spelerstunnel in Euroborg. Ze werden versierd met groen-witte linten en massaal toegejuicht door alle fans op de hoofdtribune en de Tonny van Leeuwen-tribune.
Na afloop van de presentatie was er in en rond het stadion ruimte te gaan om handtekeningen te jagen. Hieronder staan de namen en rugnummers van de 22 spelers van de eerste selectie van FC Groningen.
