Op woensdag 28 oktober speelt FC Groningen in het bekertoernooi de uitwedstrijd tegen Vitesse. Om ervoor te zorgen dat het gastenvak van het Gelredome goed gevuld zal zijn en er een flink aantal supporters het team van trainer Ron Jans zal ondersteunen in Arnhem, is er een speciale actie gestart.
In samenwerking met de Supportersvereniging FC Groningen, Supportersvereniging Z-Side, Groningen Fanatics en de Rolly-Side biedt FC Groningen bij deze bekerwedstrijd de busreis naar Arnhem plus het entreekaartje aan voor de speciale actieprijs van 25 euro. ‘Beker-shirt’ Dat is echter nog niet alles. Supporters die zich aanmelden voor deze wedstrijd krijgen in de bus een speciaal ‘Beker-shirt’ als aandenken en bovendien zal de Fanshop op de wedstrijddag bepaalde merchandise-artikelen tegen sterk gereduceerde tarieven aanbieden.
FC Groningen en de diverse supportersgeledingen hebben het streven net zoveel mensen mee te nemen naar Arnhem als in 2003, toen – zoals op de bijgevoegde foto blijkt – het gastenvak nagenoeg vol zat.
