De mouwen opgestroopt. Daar begint het mee. FC-spelers weten van aanpakken en strijden voor iedere meter. Strijd is de basis voor het winnen van wedstrijden en om de strijdwijze van de Trots van het Noorden vorm te geven zijn fitte en sterke spelers nodig. In de special ‘De kracht van FC Groningen’ wordt een unieke inkijk gegeven in de visie en werkwijze van de Trots van het Noorden over hoe de club werkt aan de fitste en sterkste spelers. De special was maandag 3 mei te zien op ESPN en is nu terug te kijken op het YouTube-kanaal van FC Groningen
Eredivisievoetbal is topsport. Om hierin uit te blinken is een ijzeren discipline en een gouden visie nodig. De visie van FC Groningen in het beleidsplan ‘Samen naar de Grote Markt’ is helder: de Trots van het Noorden gaat op sportief vlak onder meer voor de fitste en sterkste spelers. Maar wat is hiervoor nodig? In de special ‘De kracht van FC Groningen’ geven onder anderen hoofd performance Wouter Frencken en fysiektrainer van de eerste selectie Jarno Voorintholt een exclusief inkijkje op de werkwijze van FC Groningen.
