In FC Groningen TV maken we vanavond kennis met chauffeurs van RVO FC Groningen/Cambuur. Dagelijks rijden acht busjes van de jeugdopleiding van FC Groningen door de noordelijke provincies om spelers te vervoeren naar school en trainingen. Daarnaast vertelt Tim Sparv waarom hij meedoet aan Movember en is er een voorbeschouwing te zien op het duel van vanavond tegen NAC Breda.
Een ieder heeft ze vast wel een keer voorbij zien rijden, de busjes van de jeugdopleiding van FC Groningen. Ze koersen van maandag tot en met vrijdag door de noordelijke provincies om de jeugdspelers van RVO FC Groningen/Cambuur te vervoeren van huis naar school en trainingen en weer terug. Een groep van twaalf chauffeurs zorgt er voor dat de voetbaltalenten dagelijks op tijd aankomen op de plaats van bestemming.
Vanavond maken we kennis met twee chauffeurs: Roel Winters en Wim Alt. Winters is sinds drie jaar chauffeur, Alt zit alweer acht jaar achter het stuur van het FC Groningen busje. Beiden zijn erg tevreden met hun dagelijkse ritjes. Niet alleen vanwege de band met de jeugdspelers, maar ook dankzij de gezelligheid met de collega’s. Zo is er elke vrijdagmiddag tijd voor een balletje gehakt.
Wie Tim Sparv deze dagen van dichtbij ziet zal zien dat de middenvelder uit Finland zijn snor heeft laten staan. Sparv doet sinds 1 november mee aan de jaarlijkse actie Movember. Wereldwijd laten mannen hun snor staan om aandacht te vragen voor gezondheidsproblemen van mannen, zoals bijvoorbeeld prostaatkanker. Sparv hoopt met zijn actie zoveel mogelijk geld in te zamelen voor het goede doel.
Afgelopen zondag was Agil Etemadi even weer terug in Euroborg. De voormalige derde keeper van FC Groningen vertrok in januari naar Iran om te gaan keepen bij Tractor Sazi Tabriz FC. Bij die club heeft hij inmiddels een basisplaats veroverd en speelde hij een paar weken geleden voor maar liefst 100.000 toeschouwers. Etemadi was blij weer even terug te zijn in Groningen.
Vanavond om 20.00 uur speelt FC Groningen de uitwedstrijd in Breda tegen NAC. Voor zowel trainer Robert Maaskant en als Virgil van Dijk heeft het duel tegen de Brabanders een speciaal tintje. Maaskant was van februari 2008 tot en met augustus 2010 trainer van NAC, Van Dijk is geboren en getogen in Breda. Beide hebben zin in het ‘avondje NAC’.
Let op: FC Groningen TV wordt vanavond om 17.55 uur uitgezonden op Eredivisie Live 2. Daarna is FCG TV om 19.10 uur te zien op Eredivisie Live 1, voorafgaande aan FC Groningen – NAC Breda. De herhaling is om 22.55 uur op EL 2. Morgen wordt FCG TV om 08.30 uur herhaald op EL 1.
FC Groningen TV is zaterdag ook te zien op OOG TV. De uitzending op de lokale omroep van Groningen begint om 15.30 uur waarna het tot 09.00 uur in de ochtend wordt herhaald.
