FC Groningen TV heeft vanavond een kennismaking met Alexander Sørloth die zondag 3 januari aansluit bij de eerste selectie van de FC. Daarnaast vertelt oud-trainer Theo Verlangen over mooie belevenissen in het Oosterparkstadion en kijkt Bryan Linssen vooruit naar de ontmoeting met zijn vorige werkgever Heracles Almelo.
Afgelopen dinsdag werd Alexander Sørloth gepresenteerd aan de pers. De Noorse spits komt in januari de selectie van trainer Erwin van de Looi versterken. Sørloth leerde speciaal voor de presentatie al wat Nederlands en maakte zo meteen indruk op de aanwezige media.
Vandaag is het precies tien jaar geleden dat FC Groningen de laatste competitiewedstrijd, tegen NEC, speelde in het Oosterparkstadion. Voor die gelegenheid had oud-trainer Theo Verlangen een gedicht geschreven wat één van de hoogtepunten werd van een emotionele middag vol afscheid. Verlangen vertelt tien jaar later in FCG TV hoe het gedicht tot stand kwam en laat nog wat leuke anekdotes uit zijn tijd als trainer van de FC horen.
Marcel Groninger, assistent-trainer van de FC, boekte afgelopen dinsdag als trainer van HHC Hardenberg een groot succes door met HHC voor de KNVB-Beker te winnen van NEC. FCG TV kijkt met Groninger terug op de bijzondere avond, een avond waarin de bril van Groninger nog maar net wist te overleven.
Het gaat goed met de verkoop van het boek ‘Lev’, de biografie van oud-speler Evgeniy Levchenko. De Oekraïner bracht afgelopen zondag rond FC Groningen – Feyenoord zijn boek onder de aandacht want de helft van de opbrengst gaat naar het goede doel: de stichting Breath. Mede met hulp van FCG TV slaagde Levchenko erin diverse gesigneerde exemplaren te verkopen aan supporters van FC Groningen.
Zaterdagavond gaat FC Groningen op bezoek bij Heracles Almelo. De laatste wedstrijd van 2015 wordt een directe strijd om de vierde plaats in de Eredivisie. Bryan Linssen kwam afgelopen zomer over van Heracles en heeft met veel spelers van de tukkers nog steeds contact. FCG TV kijkt met Linssen alvast vooruit naar de ontmoeting van zaterdagavond.
FC Groningen TV wordt vrijdag om 18.15 uur uitgezonden op Fox Sports Eredivisie kanaal 1. De uitzending wordt vrijdagavond om 00.15 uur herhaald op kanaal 5. Zaterdag is FCG TV te zien om 15.15 uur op kanaal 1 en om 17.00 uur op kanaal 5.
Volgende week vrijdag 25 december, Eerste Kerstdag, is de laatste uitzending van FC Groningen TV voor de winterstop te zien. Daarin kijkt FCG TV met trainer Erwin van de Looi terug op 2015. Die dag is om 16.00 uur op kanaal 3 ook de Fox Sports Doc ‘De Groene Hel’ te zien over het seizoen 2007/2008 van FC Groningen.
FC Groningen TV is elke zaterdag vanaf 15.30 uur ook te zien op OOG TV en via Ziggo kanaal 40 en KPN, Telfort en XS4All kanaal 622. De uitzending wordt doorlopend herhaald tot zondagochtend 9.00 uur.
