In aflevering zes van FC Groningen TV zien we dat de selectie van FC Groningen over behoorlijke roeikwaliteiten beschikt. De eerste uitzending begint vrijdagavond om 17.55 uur (!) op Eredivisie Live 1.
De ploeg van Pieter Huistra deed onlangs mee aan een roeiclinic, georganiseerd door roeiverenigingen de Hunze en Gyas. Met de clinic willen de Hunze en Gyas de aandacht vestigen op Row4Rights. Dit is een roeitocht van ruim vierhonderd kilometer over de Donau voor het goede doel. Tijdens de clinic werd de FC selectie verdeeld in vier teams die als afsluiter elkaar op het water bestreden in een heuse roeifinale.
In FCG TV wordt uiteraard ook vooruitgekeken op het ‘avondje NAC’ van zaterdag. FC Groningen TV onderzocht de historie van de duels tussen FC Groningen en NAC en stuitte daarbij op een paar opmerkelijke feiten. Wie was bv de laatste speler in het shirt van NAC die scoorde tegen FC Groningen?
In het kader van 40 jaar FC Groningen blikken we terug met Rob McDonald. De spits uit Engeland speelde tussen 1982 en 1985 en tijdens het seizoen 1986-1987 voor FC Groningen. McDonald kwam tot 115 officiële wedstrijden waarin hij 52 scoorde. Eén van die goals was het eerste Europacupdoelpunt van FC Groningen, gescoord in Madrid tegen Atletico Madrid. In de volgende ronde wist McDonald ook te scoren tegen Inter Milan. Maar de 5-1 nederlaag in Bari betekende echter wel de uitschakeling. FC Groningen TV wordt vanavond om 17.55 uur uitgezonden op Eredivisie Live 1. De herhaling is om 23.25 uur. FCG TV is vanavond ook te zien op Eredivisie Live 2 om 18.50 uur en 22.50 uur. Zaterdag zijn er herhalingen op EL1 om 14.15 uur en EL2 om 20.25 uur.
