FC Groningen speelt komend seizoen in een thuisshirt met smalle groene banen. Ruim 6.000 stemmers gaven hieraan met 51% de voorkeur aan boven de bredere banen. Bij de verkiezing voor het uitshirt werd had maar liefst 65% voorkeur voor de zwart-groene variant.
Net als afgelopen seizoen mochten de supporters via deze website hun voorkeur kenbaar maken voor het thuis- en uitshirt in het seizoen 2014/2015. In samenspraak met de achterban werden er afgelopen donderdag twee varianten voor het thuisshirt en drie voor het uitshirt gepresenteerd.
De voorkeur voor het thuisshirt ging met een zeer nipte meerderheid van 51% van de 6.274 stemmers naar de smallere banen. De bredere banen kregen 49% van de stemmen.
Bij het uitshirt was de overgrote meerderheid voor het groen-zwarte tenue. De geheel zwarte (20%) variant en het paars-zwarte shirt (15%) konden op veel minder bijval rekenen.
Met ingang van komend seizoen speelt FC Groningen in kleding van shirtsponsor Masita.
