De 4Mijl van Groningen staat over iets minder dan tien weken op het programma. Noord-Nederland loopt uit voor het hardloopfestijn op zondag 9 oktober 2022. Samen met partner Scapino heeft FC Groningen bijna honderd beginnende hardlopers aangezet tot meer en beter bewegen. Deze groep vormt de Scapino Selectie en gaat er alles aan doen om op 9 oktober juichend over de finish op de Vismarkt te komen.
Alle geselecteerde deelnemers voor de ‘Scapino Selectie’ hebben een gratis startshirt en hardloopschoenen, ontvangen van partner Scapino. Zij gaan in stijl naar Samen met professionele looptrainers is een trainingsschema ontwikkeld die de lopers iedere week ontvangen. Op dit manier staat er straks op zondag 9 oktober een fitte Scapino Selectie aan de start van de 4Mijl.
Naast bovengenoemde worden er in de komende weken meerdere malen hardloopclinics georganiseerd. De eerste werd vorige week gehouden in en rond Euroborg. De Scapino Selectie maakte kennis met elkaar, tekende een manifest waarin werd verklaard dat iedereen het maximale geeft om straks succesvol de finish op de Vismarkt te bereiken.
Vanzelfsprekend werkten de ruim 40 deelnemers die de eerste clinic bezochten zich na de kennismaking en het ondertekenen van de overeenkomst zich in het zweet. Verschillende hardloopcoaches waren aanwezig om de Scapino Selectie van goede tips te voorzien.
De kop is er af voor de Scapino Selectie. De komende weken gaat iedereen individueel met een trainingsprogramma aan de slag en worden er verschillende bijeenkomsten georganiseerd voor de selectie om samen te komen. FC Groningen en Scapino zijn met recht trots op de deelnemers van de Scapino Selectie die de handvaten hebben aangepakt om in beweging te komen.
Club en partner zetten in op het begin van een beweegrijke toekomst waarin meer en beter bewegen een plaats krijgt in de wekelijkse agenda van de deelnemers. Aanmelden voor de 4Mijl kan nog steeds.
