FC Groningen TV heeft van Aberdeen FC toestemming gekregen de Europese wedstrijd van donderdagavond met eigen camera’s te registeren. Hierdoor hebben de programmamakers Emiel Venema en Jos Schoenmaker exclusieve beelden kunnen maken. Vanavond omstreeks 21.00 uur zal op deze website en op de officiële Facebookpagina van de club een samenvatting met de hoogtepunten van het uitduel in Pittodrie Stadium worden geplaatst.
De beelden zijn vrijdagavond te vinden via de videoplayer onder de nieuwsberichten op deze homepage. De officiële Facebookpagina van FC Groningen is te vinden via www.facebook.com/fcgroningen. Met bijna 60.000 likes is FC Groningen één van de meest succesvolle Nederlandse voetbalclubs op dit medium.
Inmiddels is de derde en laatste dag van de Europese reis naar Aberdeen aangebroken. Na het ontbijt stond voor selectie en staf om 9.15 uur een groepsfoto bij het Mercure Ardoe hotel op het programma met de organisator van de reis: Sportstadion.nl. Na het fotomoment maakte de selectie zich klaar voor een lichte hersteltraining.
Deze training vond plaats in de sportzaal in de spa van het hotel. Sommige spelers stapten op de loopband, terwijl anderen de spieren losmaakten op de hometrainer. Rond het middaguur wordt er uitgecheckt uit het hotel en brengen twee bussen het gehele gezelschap van FC Groningen weer naar het vliegveld in Aberdeen. Daar vertrekt de vlucht richting Eelde om 14.00 Schotse tijd waarna men omstreeks 16.35 uur Nederlandse tijd verwacht te landen.
