Afgelopen woensdag vonden in Euroborg twee speciale rondleidingen plaats. De Rolly Side en de vrijwilligers van FC Groningen kregen met hun genodigden een kijkje in de stadion.
Een groep van zo’n zeventig personen bestaande uit rolstoelers en hun begeleiding werden ontvangen in de Hattrick’s Pub. Daar waren directeur Hans Nijland en teammanager Theo Huizinga aanwezig voor de ontvangst en waren ook Leandro Bacuna, Tom Hiariej, Thomas Enevoldsen, Mike Zonneveld en Gibril Sankoh present.
Verder vond de grootste rondleiding ooit plaats. Alle vrijwilligers van FC Groningen kregen de mogelijkheid hun familie eens zelf rond te leiden door Euroborg. Om te beginnen werden ze via de grote beeldschermen toegesproken door directeur Hans Nijland, die een videoboodschap had achtergelaten.
Zo’n vijfhonderd personen werden ontvangen op de Noordtribune waarna zij aan de hand van een beschrijving zelf op plekken in het stadion kwamen, die ze normaal gesproken op een wedstrijddag niet of nauwelijks zien. De deelnemers waren zeer enthousiast over de rondleiding.
