Nicklas Pedersen en Gonzalo Garcia zijn komende zondag in de thuiswedstrijd tegen AZ weer inzetbaar. Het duo is teruggekeerd van blessures. Voor het duel van komende zondag zijn nog steeds kaarten beschikbaar. Het laatste duel van 2010 in Euroborg begint om 14.30 uur. Tickets in Vak PP kosten 18 euro en zijn zonder clubcard verkrijgbaar via deze website, de fanshop in Euroborg en TicketBox.
Afgelopen week was het voor de selectie van trainer Pieter Huistra opnieuw improviseren wat betreft de trainingen. Na de overwinning op Vitesse was de selectie et weekend vrij. Dinsdagochtend kon op kunstgras worden getraind en donderdag bleef de selectie noodgedwongen binnen. Vandaag (vrijdag – red.) was en morgen is het hoofdveld van Euroborg de trainingslocatie in de voorbereiding op het treffen tussen de nummers 3 en 5 van de ranglijst.
Afgelopen week waren Tim Matavz en Andreas Granqvist wat ziekjes, maar vandaag stond het duo weer op het veld. Behalve de geschorst Maikel Kieftenbeld en de ernstig geblesseerde Koen van de Laak zijn alle spelers inzetbaar in de wedstrijd tegen AZ. Na de laatste training op zaterdag zal uit twintig spelers een selectie van achttien man worden samengesteld. Vanaf volgende week traint de FC de rest van het jaar 2010 op kunstgras. De uitduels met Excelsior en Genemuiden worden namelijk eveneens op kunstgras gespeeld.
