FC Groningen TV heeft vanavond een terugblik op de fraaie zege op Heracles met Desevio Payne. Daarnaast is er een vooruitblik op de wedstrijd van zaterdag tegen Vitesse met Yoëll van Nieff en Hans Hateboer.
Vorig weekend opende FC Groningen de tweede seizoenshelft met een fraaie 4-1 zege op Heracles Almelo. Voor Desevio Payne was het een extra bijzondere avond. Hij beloonde zijn eerste basisplaats van dit seizoen met een doelpunt. FCG TV volgde hem tijdens de wedstrijd en sprak hem uiteraard over zijn spel en zijn goal. Daarnaast blikken trainer Ernest Faber en Mimoun Mahi terug op de hervatting van de competitie.
Zaterdagavond komt Vitesse op bezoek in het Noordlease Stadion. Yoëll van Nieff heeft goede herinneringen aan de huidige keeper van Vitesse Eloy Room. Van Nieff scoorde op 7 april 2014 op Sportpark Corpus den Hoorn vanuit een vrije trap van bijna veertig meter afstand namens Jong FC Groningen. Room was keeper van Jong Vitesse en hoorde de bal alleen maar langs zich suizen. Het doelpunt ging de hele wereld over. Bijna een jaar later scoorde Van Nieff opnieuw op schitterende wijze tegen Vitesse in de kwartfinale van de KNVB-Beker. FCG TV kijkt met Van Nieff nog eens terug op die goals en blikt met Van Nieff en Hans Hateboer vooruit naar de confrontatie van zaterdag.
FC Groningen TV wordt vanavond om 18.15 uur uitgezonden op Fox Sports kanaal 1. De uitzending wordt vanavond om 18.45 uur en 23.15 uur herhaald op kanaal 3 en om 18.30 uur op kanaal 5. Zaterdag is FCG TV te zien om 11.15 uur op kanaal 1, om 14.15 uur, 15.45 uur en 17.45 uur op kanaal 3 en om 9.45 uur op kanaal 5.
FC Groningen TV is elke zaterdag vanaf 15.00 uur ook te zien op OOG TV en via Ziggo kanaal 40 en KPN, Telfort en XS4All kanaal 622. De uitzending wordt doorlopend herhaald tot zondagochtend 9.00 uur.
