Vanavond, maandag 2 mei, speelt Jong FC Groningen in Euroborg. De ploeg van trainer Alfons Arts is nog volop in de race om de Tweede Divisie van de nieuwe voetbalpiramide te bereiken. Het duel met Jong Brabant United begint om 18.30 uur. Kassa's zijn open!
Bij Jong FC Groningen zijn Oussama Idrissi, Willem Gootjes en Daro Faraj vanavond niet van de partij. Bryan Linssen, Mimoun Mahi en Desevio Payne behoren wel tot de selectie voor het duel met de nummer 10 van de ranglijst, die bestaat uit spelers van FC Den Bosch en RKC Waalwijk.
Kansen Jong FC Groningen heeft de plaatsing voor de Tweede Divisie volledig in eigen hand, maar kan vanavond bij winst op Jong Brabant United de deelname aan de Tweede Divisie nog niet veiligstellen. Daarvoor is morgen, dinsdag 3 mei, een thuiszege van Jong Volendam op Jong Twente of een zege van Jong Almere City op Jong Sparta Rotterdam nog noodzakelijk.
