Het aanvangstijdstip van de oefenwedstrijd van FC Groningen op zaterdag 7 juli tegen het Duitse Kickers Emden is verplaatst naar 18.00 uur. Het Ostfriesland-stadion opent de poorten om 17.00 uur. Vanwege een ander evenement in de haven en het centrum van Emden, een regatta, hebben de lokale autoriteiten geen toestemming gegeven voor het aanvankelijk door de clubs overeengekomen tijdstip van 15.00 uur.
De voorverkoop voor het duel start aanstaande zondag bij de eerste training in Haren. Supporters van FC Groningen, die de oefenwedstrijd in Duitsland willen bezoeken, kunnen zondagmiddag in Haren bij de eerste training van FC Groningen een kaart kopen voor 8 euro per stuk.
Van maandag 25 juni tot en met vrijdag 6 juli is er voorverkoop bij de Supportersbalie in de Fanshop in Euroborg. Deze is op werkdagen geopend van 10.00 uur tot 17.00 uur. De kassa in Emden opent zaterdag 7 juli om 17.00 uur. Er kan geparkeerd worden bij het gastenvak van het Ostfriesland-stadion.
Vanwege het door de autoriteiten gewijzigde aanvangstijdstip is het voor FC-supporters helaas niet mogelijk dezelfde avond nog met de trein vanuit Emden terug te reizen naar Groningen. Let op dat het meebrengen van een geldig legitimatiebewijs verplicht is bij deze wedstrijd in Duitsland.
