Naast de vele merchandise artikelen van FC Groningen, heeft de club vanaf vandaag ook een eigen serie postzegels. Delegaties van PostNL en Jumbo Groningen overhandigden aan aanvoerder Rasmus Lindgren het eerste velletje FC-zegels. Een deel van de opbrengst van de postzegels gaat naar de Stichting FC Groningen in de Maatschappij.
Retail directeur Barry Husman van PostNL reikte op het TCN Trainingscomplex de eerste serie postzegels uit aan de huidige captain van FC Groningen, Rasmus Lindgren. Naast Husman was ook retail manager Gert Grimmius van PostNL aanwezig. Jumbo Groningen, waar de postzegels onder meer verkrijgbaar zullen zijn, werd vertegenwoordigd door ondernemer Anrico Maat en bedrijfsleider Dennis van der Sluis. Verkrijgbaar Naast Jumbo Euroborg – en binnenkort ook in diverse andere Jumbo-vestigingen in de provincie Groningen – zijn de postzegels tevens verkrijgbaar in de Fan Corner Groningen, het nieuwe onderkomen van FC Groningen op de hoek van de nieuwbouw van het Alfa-college aan de Boumaboulevard.
Sinds kort heeft FC Groningen in de Fan Corner alle supportersaangelegenheden, zoals de Supportersbalie en de afdelingen ticketing en merchandise, onder één dak ondergebracht. Supporters van FC Groningen kunnen hier voor alle supporterszaken op één centrale plek terecht. Onderdeel van de Fan Corner is ook een schitterende nieuwe twee verdiepingen tellende Fanshop.
