FC Groningen TV heeft vrijdagavond aandacht voor het uitstel van het duel tegen FC Twente en de herdenking van clubicoon Piet Fransen donderdagavond in Euroborg. Daarnaast komt Hans Nijland aan het woord over de begroting van 2015/2016 en kijkt Erwin van de Looi vooruit naar het nieuwe seizoen.
FC Groningen zou komende zondag de competitie openen in Euroborg tegen FC Twente. Door de aangekondigde politieacties is het duel uitgesteld naar volgende week woensdag. Algemeen directeur Hans Nijland en John Schurer, voorzitter van de supportersvereniging, vertellen in FCG TV wat ze van dat uitstel vinden.
Diezelfde Schurer komt ook aan het woord over Piet Fransen, de clubicoon die afgelopen zondag op 79-jarige leeftijd overleed. Donderdagavond was er een herdenking in Euroborg waar belangstellenden, onder wie Yoëll van Nieff en oud-speler Dominique van Dijk, afscheid namen van Fransen. Schurer laat in FCG TV weten dat als het aan de supportersvereniging ligt, er te zijner tijd een beeld komt van Fransen en de in 2013 overleden Martin Koeman bij de hoofdingang van Euroborg, pal naast het beeld van Tonny van Leeuwen.
Afgelopen maandag vond in Euroborg de jaarlijkse persdag plaats. Algemeen directeur Hans Nijland kwam tijdens die persdag met positief nieuws over de begroting en de seizoenkaartverkoop. Daarnaast liet trainer Erwin van de Looi weten met vertrouwen uit te kijken naar het nieuwe voetbalseizoen. Vertrouwen hebben de supporters ook. Dat maakte FCG TV op tijdens een rondvraag onder supporters tijdens de Open Dag van FC Groningen van afgelopen woensdag.
FC Groningen TV wordt elke vrijdag om 18.15 uur uitgezonden op Fox Sports Eredivisie kanaal 1. De uitzending wordt vrijdagavond om 22.45 uur op kanaal 3 en om 00.10 uur op kanaal 5. Zaterdag is FCG TV om 15.15 uur te zien op kanaal 1.
FC Groningen TV is elke zaterdag vanaf 15:30 uur ook te zien op OOG TV en via Ziggo kanaal 40 en KPN, Telfort en XS4All kanaal 622. De uitzending wordt doorlopend herhaald tot zondagochtend 9.00 uur.
