Afgelopen zaterdag heeft de spelersbus van FC Groningen voor het eerst met nieuwe bestickering gereden. De onder-23 reisde af naar Leeuwarden voor een oefenwedstrijd tegen Cambuur 2 en kwam terug met een 3-0 overwinning.
Afgelopen week was het nieuwe ontwerp aangebracht op de spelersbus van FC Groningen en zaterdagochtend stond de bus voor de eerste rit klaar bij het Noordlease Stadion. In Leeuwarden scoorden Joël Donald en Michael Breij voor de pauze en proefspeler Antonio Sefer tien minuten voor tijd.
Naast de 17-jarige Roemenen Sefer en Antonio Manolache was ook de 18-jarige Servische spits Luka Ristivojevic gastspeler bij FC Groningen onder-23.
