Het eerste nummer van het FC Groningen Journaal seizoen 2017/2018 is verschenen. De promotiekrant van de Trots van het Noorden kent een nieuwe verfrissende opmaak. De FC-krant wordt huis-aan-huis verspreid in 27 gemeenten in Noord-Nederland en kent een totale oplage van bijna 300.000 exemplaren.
In het eerste nummer van het nieuwe seizoen staan interviews en reportages met onder anderen Django Warmerdam, Todd Kane, Kevin Begois en Marcel Groninger. De assistent-trainer bezocht striptekenaar Roelof Wijtsma in Groningen, die Groninger mogelijk een gastrol geeft in een nieuw album van de voetbal-stripheld Roel Dijkstra. Daarnaast is er een nadere kennismaking te lezen met de Mexicaanse aanwinst Uriel Antuna.
Bakoe
Bijzonder is het bezoek dat Juninho Bacuna bracht aan een boerderij als ambassadeur van het project Gezond Scoren van Stichting FC Groningen in de Maatschappij. De middenvelder ging er koeien melken en dat leverde woordgrapjes op omdat Juninho’s bijnaam ‘Bacu’ (spreek uit: Bakoe) is.
In het hart van het FC Groningen Journaal is een poster van de eerste selectie te vinden. Ook de FC Groningen Junior Club krijgt aandacht en er is een pagina ingeruimd voor de Supportersvereniging FC Groningen.
